Is reality merely a fiction, or is fiction becoming a tangible reality?
Here is a bit about where I'm from:
Generation X, a child of the 80s, born in Wels (Upper Austria) and formerly known as "Murauer" for some time. Todayâbecause it is affordable and the temperature still drops at nightâI call Hohentauern (Styria/Austria) home. It is a small mountain village at 1,270 m above sea level in the Austrian Alps (USDA Zone 5b-6a).
Raised on and shaped byâthe cultural DNA that built my worldview.
- Good Movies: Westworld (1973), Logan's Run (1976), Endangered Species (1982), The Thing (1982), Winnetou (various), The Fly I (1986) & II (1989), The Lawnmower Man I & II, Tron & Tron: Legacy, Gremlins I & II, The NeverEnding Story I & II, The Jungle Book, Back to the Future IâIII, Blue Thunder, On Deadly Ground, Elysium, Blade Runner 2049, Alita: Battle Angel, The Millennium Trilogy, The Ice Road, The Swarm, Replicas, Ghost in the Shell, Repo Men (2010), Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, Anon, Wind River, The Creator.

- Good Games: Millennium 2.2, The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, RoboWarrior, Kid Icarus, Adventures of Lolo, Oceanhorn, Never Alone (Kisima InĆitchuĆa), Spirit of the North, The First Tree, Endling - Extinction is Forever, Lost Ember, The Companion.
Night Owl:
I'm like Lisbeth Salander (Millennium), Chloe O'Brian (24), Max Guevara (Dark Angel) and Samus Aran (Metroid). At nightâwhile you sleepâI hunt for the unseen glitches in the system.
Nature Lover:
I'm like Forrest Taft (On Deadly Ground) and MacGyverâI solve problems with the things at hand. I'm like Link (Zelda), Ray (Stingray), Nuna (Never Alone), Kalani (Spirit of the North) or the quiet fox next door (The First Tree, Endling, Lost Ember, The Companion)âI help those in need.
Always grounded by four paws accompanying me step by stepâthat is non-negotiable, so don't even try. Loyal family members by my side have been and still are: a female St. Bernard (1995â2007), a female Bernese Mountain Dog (2008â2016) andâsince 2017âanother female Bernese Mountain Dog. Driven by a deep environmental consciousness and respect for indigenous cultures.
Free Spirit:
I'm like House, MDâbecause everybody lies. I'm like Nyah Hall (Mission: Impossible 2), Maya and Alphie (The Creator), Alita (Alita: Battle Angel), Joi (Blade Runner 2049) and Yoda.
Independent, curious, unconventional. Ready to rethink ethics and driven by a constant "What if?". I simply want to know how things work at their core.
I'm like Sam Flynn (Tron: Legacy)âthe idealistic outlaw. I create worldsâwhich are too realâfor many human beings.
Academic Backgroundâsure, it exists, but papers are overrated in such a broken world. We need open thinking and hands-on capabilities.

Design and Accessibility Note:
This website features a high-contrast, dark-mode design optimized for comfortable reading. The background is a very dark, almost black anthracite, paired with soft, cream-colored headings and a clear neutral grey for the body text to maximize readabilityâincluding on e-readers, in text-only mode or with screen readers.
The four thematic pillars are:
Life (Olive Green) for biopunk, biology and nature;
Water (Ocean Blue) for cyberpunk, Indigenous futurism and astronomy;
Terra (Terracotta) for geopunk (aka eco-punk, solarpunk), geology and raw materials; and
Aether (Slate Grey) for atmosphere and everything beyond our imagination, such as AI.
However, a precise demarcation is very often not possibleâor indeed not even desired by meâsince all topics overlap anyway.
